THE KAXINAWA BEADED NECKLACE is a stunning eco jewery piece made by Kaxinawa indigenous Amazon artisans in the Brazilian Amazon. It is made with the yarina (aka tagua, white), tucum (black), anaja (brown) nuts that are sustainably harvested, then hand carved into beautiful and smooth beads, to create an elegant and graphic necklace. Wear one alone in layers and in one long strand, or buy a few and layer them together for an even more striking look.
The yarina nut is worn for protection. Shamans and indigenous Kaxinawa people wear these necklaces for protection.
