It is an exquisite traditional Cofán woven bag design that expands to fit more than you can imagine!

Chambira plant fiber is hand picked, stripped and rolled into twine, then woven into a beautiful bag dyed with natural rainforest plant dyes. Although, the style is clean and simple, the work involved in the making of this bag - from the harvesting, drying, stripping, then made into twine, dyed and woven - is a laborious undertaking, the result is a beautiful and durable expandable bag. Designer Violeta Villacorta wears one daily and styles it with an evening outfit for a night in the city.
